Our Story
BIOSeptic Pty Ltd is an Australian-owned company, incorporated in 1992. After working in sales for an earlier AWTS company since 1986, the concept of BIOSeptic was formed and in ‘92’ it commenced research and development of the BIOSeptic Aerated Wastewater Treatment System (AWTS) at the University of Western Sydney.
In 1993, BIOSeptic began trading after obtaining NSW Health Department accreditation for its first AWTS, establishing itself as one of the premier suppliers of Aerated Wastewater Treatment Systems in New South Wales.
BIOSeptic have since become specialists in manufacturing both domestic and commercial wastewater treatment systems, from traditional septic tanks to advanced AWTS for rural and regional properties not serviced by reticulated sewage systems. They can also design and supply larger sewage systems for schools, factories and multi-unit dwellings and are able to tailor wastewater solutions to meet specific site needs.
Based in Smeaton Grange, NSW, BIOSeptic have been proudly serving households, builders, councils and families across NSW and beyond for over 30 years. Today, thousands of Australian households rely on their BIOSeptic systems.
The family that founded BIOSeptic in 1992 are now in their second generation of management and have since created Sydney Water Tanks and Conforce, a supplier to the pre cast concrete industry across Australia, and both part of the same commitment to quality and innovation.
